Charlie Kirk’s funeral saw a whole host of figures in attendance and a video captured the moment Elon Musk and Donald Trump reunited.

On Sunday, thousands of people came together at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to mourn and pay their respects to the Turning Point co-founder Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was shot and killed while he was speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on September 10 as part of his Turning Point USA comeback tour.

His murder has sparked impassioned conversations about the future of the US and free speech, and these same sentiments were highlighted at the funeral.

Donald Trump has repeatedly taken to social media to comment on Kirk’s death and issue a tribute to him, and Elon Musk has also reiterated the importance of free speech.

The FBI has announced they have arrested suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, who has been charged with seven counts.

The charges include aggravated murder, two counts of obstruction of justice, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, two counts of witness tampering, and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child.

During the funeral, Elon Musk was seen sitting next to Trump and having a brief conversation and a lip reader has given some insights into what the pair may have discussed, following a public falling out.

Speaking to the Mail Online, lip reader Nicola Hickling said Trump simply said ‘how are you doing’ as he turned away from Dana White to greet Musk.

Musk appeared to shrug as Trump added that he had heard that the billionaire wanted to chat.

Trump then reportedly added: “Let’s try and work out how to get back on track.”

Musk responded by nodding his head with Trump shaking his hand and seemingly saying ‘I’ve missed you.’

Musk again nodded before getting up from his seat and walking off.

The pair appear to be on better terms as the two of them took shots at one another earlier this year as Musk left his role as head of The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Musk and Trump seemed to disagree on the benefits of Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’.

Musk warned it could cost tax payers billions and ultimately increase the US’ debt. However, Trump hit back at Musk and called him a ‘bulls***’ artist and suggested the South African billionaire should go back to where he came from.

Musk also posted comments claiming that authorities had more information regarding Donald Trump’s involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.
