A TikTok claiming Disney is offering a $10,000,000 lifetime park pass has gone viral - but not everything is as it seems.

We know theme parks can be expensive, but for thrill-seekers, special passes are usually a worthy investment.

And one social media account has recently claimed that Disney is offering up its most expensive lifetime pass ever.

Mouse Trap News said the 'Unlimited Disney Pass' lets four guests stay at any Disney World theme park on any day of the week 'for your entire life'.

You can stay at any standard or pool-view hotel room on Disney World property 'as long as there is availability' while also giving guests access to all Club 33 locations - an exclusive, invite-only private members club found at four locations: Disney's Anaheim, California park, Walt Disney World Florida, Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland.

Mouse Trap News claims that this lifetime pass pays for itself after around 22 years - so it doesn't exactly scream value for money, does it?

This is based on a family of four paying $1,200 on average for a day ticket.

The video - which you can watch above - has since been viewed some 4.3 million times on TikTok.

While many people have taken it seriously, Mouse Trap News is actually fake.

The outlet states in its TikTok bio: 'Real Disney News That is 100% FAKE' while its website explains it is the 'world’s best satire and parody site, and authors of The Ultimate Guide to an Affordable Disney Trip, a best-seller.'

They add: "We write fake stories about Disney Parks stuff. From Disney Park announcements to Disney Hotel and resort news to made-up Disney partnerships, you can be assured that anything you read here is not true, real, or accurate, but it is fun."

But with the likes of American Airlines launching $250,000 lifetime tickets - albeit in the 1980s - it's understandable that some people would fall for the fake news.

Taking to the original video's comments section, people were keen to debate what the fake pass offered.

One person pointed out: "'As long as there's availability' seems weird. $10M should guarantee availability" as a second agreed: "For $10M they better make some availability no matter what."

And a third person reckoned: "I would expect to own atleast half of Disneyland for 10M."

Others were furious that there were no queue-skip passes included either. Fair point, to be honest.

Good job it's not real, then.

The park’s most expensive ticket is actually the Disney Incredi-Pass, coming in at $1,549 before taxes.

The annual pass grants access to all four theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Disney's Animal Kingdom - and includes park hopping, every day of the year, subject to reservation requirement.

You can also hold up to five parks pass reservations at a time, but must pay $99 extra for water park and sports options.
