Hotel offers room for free but people are unsure after learning the catch

The Paradiso Art Hotel claims the room is 'not suitable for wallflowers'

There's a hotel room in Ibiza where guests can stay for free, but you might want to think twice before you rush off to book your vacation.

If you've been craving some sun and ever tried to plan a budget for a couple of nights in Ibiza, you'll have quickly been humbled as the vacation hotspot tends to come with a hefty price tag.

So a four-star hotel advertising a free night's stay sounds pretty appealing...until you learn the catch of course, which is so bad people are branding it their 'worst nightmare'.

The infamous 'Zero Suite' located in the lobby - yes, the lobby - of the Paradiso Art Hotel has branded itself ‘not suitable for wallflowers’.

That's because the room is made up of totally see-through walls.

The Paradiso website explains: “A glass-walled room in the middle of Paradiso Art Hotel lobby where you can sleep one night for free.

"Also available for artistic performances, radio broadcasts, DJ sets…the possibilities are endless as long as you like being the centre of attention.”

It's definitely not for the shy among us, as guests who wander in and out of the lobby can watch your every move, even when you're tucked up in bed!

One person on Reddit who had seen clips of guests staying the room said: "Better bring earplugs, I’ve seen video of people knocking on the glass to get the attention of the guest sleeping in bed.

"They think you’re a performer or something."

Well, one woman on TikTok - Olympia Anley - put the experiment to the ultimate test, and checked into the Zero Suite herself.

She captioned the video: "I’ve made a lot of friends tonight.

"You can stay in this hotel for free but the room has glass walls to the lobby."

People were quick to add in the comments that it would be their idea of hell.

One said: "This would be my worst nightmare.”

Someone else asked: “My question is, why is this a thing?”

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “What’s the point like why aren’t there any walls?”

Of course, this isn't the only place you can choose to stay at the Paradiso Art Hotel.

If you fancy putting your hand in your pocket, the hotel offers a range of rooms including a 30m2 suite with balcony or the ‘jewel in the crown’, a 50m2 grand suite boasting a terrace, kitchen and two bedrooms.

While they're not free, they do have walls that aren't made of glass...so it's your call!
