A man’s discovery has left him scrambling to warn others after he filmed the inside of his dishwasher.
You, like many others, may have been left wondering what really goes on inside the machine after you run the cycle.
Instead of letting it go, however, one man decided to put a camera through the wringer to finally solve the puzzle, and it left him with some thoughts.
The YouTube page povsadventures has previously shown what happens inside a dishwasher by pointing a light and a camera inside and loading the dishwasher up.

Once the discovery was made, the comment section was full of people who didn’t know how to feel about the reveal.
But now he’s done it again, and it’s led him to issue a warning to others.

In his first video, it showed how his dishwasher cleaned several dirty plates, but something grim was found.
There was brown water being sprayed onto the dishes before pooling at the bottom of the machine.
The narrator of clip explained the thinking behind the experiment: “I put a camera in a dishwasher a few months back, and tens of thousands of people commented with concern of the not-so-clear water color.”
One user joked in the previous video: “Bro got the dishwasher hooked up to his septic tank.”
Another said: “Thank you for helping me see reasons why hand washing is best.”
A third wrote: “I am glad I was not the only one who was shocked by the brown water... thank you for sharing anyway.”
Someone else said: “After seeing it from the inside, I'm concerned about whether the dishes are actually getting cleaned.”
The color of the dishwater water in his fist video even led people to vow to handwash their dishes for the rest of their lives.
So, he decided to find out why the water looked so brown and mucky.
With more cameras and just one plate with a smiley face made of ketchup, the man filmed to find out what was going on.
For the first twenty minutes, the man shared how he felt he’d lost all hope as the machine ‘cleaned’ his dirty plate with brown water.
Determining that it recycles the water so as to remain eco-friendly, it wasn’t until less than five minutes left of the cycle that the water finally turned clear.
Because he believes his dishwasher reuses water that initially sprays the dirty dishes, and therefore, washes the dishes with icky water, he warned that you should ‘rinse’ your dishes before loading them into the dishwasher.
That way, you can keep the water clear and clean throughout the cycle.
