People have been flooding to social media in shock after MrBeast revealed how much money his 'first X video' made.

MrBeast - real name Jimmy Donaldson - is best known for his YouTube content, however, he's since decided to take the leap onto X - formerly known as Twitter.

Elon Musk - who bought the social media platform in October 2022 - decided X should share revenue with famous content creators and MrBeast has since tested out just how much he could make if he shared full length videos onto his page.

Prepare to weep as you sit at your desk getting paid a pittance for your 9-5 day job.

MrBeast has previously been called upon by fans to upload his videos to X - even tweeted by Musk himself to do so.

However, in a post to his page in December 2023, the content creator explained his videos 'cost millions to make' and 'even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn't fund a fraction of it'.

"I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!" he added.

And it would appear monetization is now 'really cranking' with MrBeast taking to his X account on 15 January to set his first test in motion, explaining he was 'curious' to see 'how much ad revenue a video on X would make'.

To test it out, he 'reupload[ed]' the video of him comparing a $1 car vs $100,000,000 car, promising to 'share ad rev next week'.

And making good on his word, the YouTuber has since shared the figures.

In a post to his X page earlier today (January 22), MrBeast revealed his 'first X video' made an eye-watering $250,000+.

However, the content creator noted: "But it’s a bit of a facade. Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think) and thus my revenue per view is prob higher than what you’d experience."

He also shared a screenshot of the post activity stats, showing it got 156,685,975 impressions, 5,176,335 engagements and subsequently made a total of $263,655.

And people have been flooding to the post to weigh in on the amount MrBeast has raked in from his first full length video X post.

One user said: "I can confirm I saw an ad of you on your video."

"Yeah wtf Elon literally gave you all our ad rev cuz we got NOTHING... LMFAOOO," another added.

A third commented: "Interesting i got $102.57 for 30 million impressions."

"And theres everyone else making $100," someone else said.

And a final user wrote: "Elon just gave you 99 percent of the ad revenue pool."

LADbible Group has contacted X and representatives for Elon Musk for comment.
