An influencer couple was left injured and traumatized after an SUV drove into the restaurant where they were eating.

Nina Unrated and Patrick Blackwood, two YouTubers who vlog their lives, favorite food spots, and more, were eating a meal for their fans when things took a turn for the worse.

Posting the video to their YouTube channel, @UnratedExFiles, Nina shared how she is ‘grateful to be alive’ after the car crashed through the glass wall at Cuvee's Culinary Creations in Houston, Texas, 'shattering everything while @iampatrickblackwood and I recorded an eating show'.

They captioned the video: “Hey everyone, it's ‪@NinaUnrated and ‪@PatrickBlackwood here, and we can't even begin to express how incredibly fortunate we feel to be alive after what happened to us.

"We were just sitting in a cozy booth at our favorite restaurant, enjoying happy hour with an amazing spread of salmon sliders, presidential oysters, a macaroni and cheese flight (classic, lobster, and truffle), shrimp and grits, and some refreshing drinks.”

In the clip, you can see Nina and Patrick talking about their food options, having chosen an array of delicious bites to eat for their audience.

However, very soon after beginning to tuck into their sliders, a sudden explosion of glass to the side of Patrick can be seen, as a car bursts through the window right beside them.

Nina thankfully managed to throw herself away from harm's way as Patrick soon followed, but glass rained down on the duo, causing some nasty cuts to their faces and other body parts.

“We were laughing, having a great time, and right as we tapped our sliders together in a ‘boom!’ cheers moment, out of nowhere, this SUV came barreling through the glass wall at 35-40 mph,” continued the caption. “No warning at all glass shattered everywhere, chaos erupted, and it hit right next to Patrick on the outside of the booth.”

The mukbang couple uploaded scenes of them in an ambulance, with Nina having suffered a cut to her eyebrow, chin and wrist and Patrick with blood running down his head.

Thankfully, there were no severe injuries, but it left the YouTubers reeling.

Patrick admitted to feeling ‘blessed’ to be alive, but needed time to come to terms with what had happened, as he said whilst at the hospital: “I'm glad I'm alive. I just want to be around my pets, lay down in my own home, have me some ice cream.”

Nina shared a similar sentiment, telling the camera: “I don't know if I'm lucky or maybe I'm delusional right now, but I'm just like it's like I want to break down and cry.”

Later, on Instagram, Nina posted images of their injuries, explaining their thoughts after having time to process the situation.

She claimed the car came ‘out of nowhere, but we survived’.

For her, ‘this experience showed me who truly matters; life’s too short for grudges or anger’.

She wrote: “Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you this could’ve been our last meal. Thankful to the universe and our angel pup Loyal, who passed in Nov 2024 and protected us from above.”

In the video, the pair admitted to going back to the same eatery to deal with their trauma as soon as possible, commenting that while the experience was horrid, the food was ‘actually amazing’.

The owner of the restaurant spoke to TMZ about the situation, stating that while the two YouTubers were taken to the hospital for their injuries, the driver was completely fine and will be held accountable for the damages done to the restaurant.

UNILAD has reached out to Cuvee's Culinary Creations and the Harris County Sheriff's Office for additional comment.
