Expert reveals the top five signs that prove you're unquestionably 'attractive'

But hey, let's remember beauty is only skin deep, eh?

There are five signs which allegedly prove you 'are more attractive than you think' and they'll probably surprise you.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and is only skin deep and all that, so if you don't relate to this list, that doesn't mean you aren't up there.

However, there are five rather unexpected signs that you may not've realized mean you're probably more attractive than you think you are, so if you needed an extra little boost after cuffing season didn't go to plan, a TikToker has you covered.

Psychologist and TikToker Francesca took to her platform earlier this week to reveal 'five signs you are more attractive than you think'.

And some will probably surprise you.

People raise their eyebrows when they see you

Yup. It may just be your intrusive thoughts thinking they're raising their eyebrows because you have something on your face or in your hair.

Instead, it could just be that they find you attractive instead.

Francesca explained: "Also know as the eyebrow flash, it can be a subconscious indication of interest or intrigue."

People go out of their way to help you

This one seems a bit harsh and makes me question everyone's morals slightly, but hey I don't make the rules.

Francesca spoke about something known as the 'halo effect' where 'attractiveness is associated with positive qualities' and people are 'friendlier and more generous' to others they find attractive.

VeryWellMind explains: "The halo effect is a type of cognitive bias in which the overall impression of a person influences how others feel and think about a person's specific traits. For example, "He is nice!" affects the perception of other particular characteristics ("He is also smart!"). Perceptions of a single trait can carry over to other aspects, too.

"The halo effect is also sometimes referred to as the physical attractiveness stereotype and the 'what is beautiful is also good' principle."

You rarely get compliments on your looks

Turns out this isn't because your looks aren't worth complimenting, but more because those around you presume you already know how beautiful you are and don't feel the need to validate it.

Strangers stare at you

Again, you may sometimes be out and about on the street and question whether you have food on the side of your mouth of a leaf has blown into your hair, but it could also just be that you are so beautiful strangers can't help but stare - let's not let this one get to your head now.

Francesca said: "People tend to maintain longer and more frequent eye contact with those they find attractive."

People are surprised by your insecurities

To conclude, the TikToker explained: "This response often indicates they view you in a more positive light than you perceive yourself."
