Women are speaking out about a new form of cheating, and sharing stories of how it impacted them and their relationships.
We all know that sending inappropriate messages or physically hooking up with someone besides your significant other in a monogamous relationship is cheating, but now it seems there are many more layers to infidelity.
One woman has revealed that she called it quits with her boyfriend after she discovered he was partaking in this new form of cheating, saying it's exactly the same as traditional cheating - and it seems many women agree with her.

So, what exactly is this form of cheating?
Australian woman Maddi Miller, 20, revealed that her now-ex had subscribed to a popular porn star's OnlyFans account.

Maddi is an OnlyFans creator who clocks up a whopping $19,272 every month on the site.

She told news.com.au that despite being an OnlyFans content creator herself, she draws the line at a partner consuming that content from anyone else.
“Trust is so important, which is why I had to end it with an ex after I caught him looking at naked photos of other women while in bed with me,” she said.
“If my ex had maybe asked to watch some content together, or he had expressed that he was curious, then we could have had a conversation about it. But the fact that he was deliberately looking at porn created by people I knew was not okay.”
“It was a huge breach of my trust. I wouldn’t be asking his mates for nudes. It’s the same thing. It’s betrayal.”

She said it was worse that he tried to hide things: “I only found out because saw it on his phone one night over his shoulder. He tried to cover it up, and said his mate sent him a link that he opened it without knowing what it was.”

“But once I investigated further, I could see in his emails that he had subscribed to multiple women that I knew. The timestamps on the emails showed that he had been laying in bed next to me while he did it.”
“Being young and having financial independence is great but it often attracts men who don’t have the best intentions,” she said. “And like this circumstance, they think it’s okay to push boundaries that we’ve set in place.”

“Like it’s owed to them because I do OnlyFans. But it’s a job for me. It doesn’t mean he can go and do whatever he wants.”
This comes after new research carried out in Australia found that most feel it's unfaithful if their partner pays for a subscription on the popular subscription site.
Some 54,000 Australians took part in a survey about life in general, and revealed many people consider it to be cheating.
Of those who answered, 50 percent said it was 'definitely' cheating.

Another 42 percent said it 'depends on the type of interactions' involved with the creator, and whether they were personally messaging them.

On the other end of the scale, just 8 percent of people think using OnlyFans is a 'normal' part of a relationship.
There was also a big difference between how men and women feel about the site.
Most women 61.3 percent, felt a partner subscribing to OnlyFans was cheating. In contrast, 46.1 percent of men say it depends on the interaction.
People are definitely divided about whether or not it counts, with many people thinking only physical cheating counts, while others refuse to accept emotional cheating either.
Over on social media, nobody can agree over the debate, with one Twitter user saying: "I think sexting another Women/Men/NB on OnlyFans (or anywhere else) while in a monogamous marriage is CHEATING!"
"Look but don't touch" added another.
And one Reddit commenter wrote: "If he interacts with her , that is personal and it's cheating. It's a slight but important distinction from pictures of videos."
