Tucker Carlson fears Donald Trump will soon get assassinated

The former Fox News host believes there is a concerted effort to prevent the ex-President taking the White House in 2024.

Tucker Carlson is worried a target is being aimed at Donald Trump as he continues to campaign for his 2024 Presidential bid.

The ex-President is showing no signs of slowing down his ambitions to take back the White House next year despite getting four huge indictments in five months.

Two of the investigations relate to allegations he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election, one is linked to claims he paid Stormy Daniels hush money and the other is about allegations he took classified documents to his home in Florida.

After he was indicted in the US state of Georgia, he said the cases won't stop him.

Trump told people on his website: "The Left wants to intimidate YOU out of voting for a political outsider who puts the American people FIRST.

"But I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA."

As a result of this defiance, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is growingly increasingly worried about Trump's safety.

He believes there has been a concerted effort from the left to prevent Trump from becoming President again.

During an appearance on comedian Adam Carolla’s podcast, Carlson said: "Begin with criticism, then you go to protest, then you go to impeachment, now you go to indictment, and none of them work. I mean what’s next?

“You know, graph it out man! We’re speeding toward assassination, obviously. No one will say that, but I don’t know how you can’t reach that conclusion.”

Despite the multiple indictments against the President, it doesn't appear any of the investigations have harmed his popularity, according to FiveThirtyEight.

His favorable rate has hovered around the 38-40 per cent mark for months and it will be interesting to see what happens as we get closer to the election.

This comes after Tucker questioned Trump during an interview held on Twitter.

"So the reason I’m asking you is I’m looking at the trajectory since 2015 when you got into politics, you know, for real," he said.

"And then one, they started with protests against you, massive protests, organized protest by the left, and then it moved to impeachment twice. Right. And now indictment.

"I mean, the next stages is violence. Is, are you worried that they’re going to try and kill you? Why wouldn’t they try and kill you? Honestly."

Trump said there are some Democrats who were 'great people' but also added: "They’re savage animals; they’re people that are sick."
