Have you ever wondered what the secret to US President Donald Trump’s hair was? Me neither, but he’s spilled the tea as his new executive order comes into force.

After stock markets are trying to recover in the wake of the 90-day tariffs pause, Trump has revealed what makes his hair so ‘beautiful’.

While the US has been going back and forth with its tariffs inflicted on the nation’s trading partners under Trump's orders to 'Make America Wealthy Again', something else has hit the headlines in its wake…and it’s not what you’d expect to hear.

It was just a week ago that the POTUS announced on April 2 that around 60 countries would face a baseline tariff of 10 percent or more on their goods imported into the US and the stock market plummeted $2 trillion in 25 seconds during his ‘Liberation Day’ speech.

Of course, the backlash was immense, but it seems like he’s not going to back down on his plans.

Now that everyone is still recovering from the shock, he sat in the Oval Office and shocked people again…but this time it’s about his hair care routine.

On Wednesday (April 9), the president made an announcement that he was changing the federal definition of ‘shower head’ to ‘end the Obama-Biden war on water pressure’.

He explained that there is just not enough water pressure in American showers, sinks and toilets, and that the federal water-conservation standards are to blame for that.

Not only is it impacting his shower time, but also, his hair.

Trump said as he signed the executive order: “In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair.”

According to the White House, this new rule will apply to multiple household appliances, which also includes toilets and sinks.

Trump added of his routine woes: “I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous."

According to the White House in a statement, ‘by restoring shower freedom’ Trump is ‘following through on his commitment to dismantle unnecessary regulations and put Americans first'.

Even though he has signed the order, now, water pressure has been something he has previously mentioned being unhappy with.

He said in 2019 that ‘people are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once’.

Then, in 2023, he said: “When you go into these new homes with showers, the water drips down slowly, slowly.”

In his speech about showers, he went on to say that people spend a lot of money on a new home, but that the developers are not allowed to ‘do anything more’ with the water pressure, as ‘they put restrictors on'.

From taking showers, to washing hands and using dishwashers, he said there are instances where ‘no water comes out’.

He went on to add: “In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair. I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes till it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip.”

He said due to the restrictions; you have to wash your hands five times longer.

In the future, he also mentioned that he hopes to bring back plastic straws instead of paper straws as they are allegedly disintegrating in people’s drinks.

So, we’ll see what happens.
