Lisa Marie Presley has been taken to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest

Her mother, Priscilla Presley, has released a statement saying Lisa is now receiving the 'best care'.

Lisa Marie Presley has been taken to hospital after suffering a full cardiac arrest.

Paramedics were called to a home in the Santa Monica Mountains after the only daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley's condition rapidly declined.

Priscilla has released a statement, saying (via AP): “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care.

"Please keep her and our family in your prayers.

"We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy during this time.”

Her current condition is unknown at this stage.

A representative for the LA County Fire Department said in a statement: “We were dispatched at 10:37 a.m. to a cardiac arrest call at the 5900 block of Normandy Drive in the city of Agoura.

"We arrived on scene at 10:43 a.m.

"One person was transported at 11:17 a.m. The patient was a female age 55.”

Lisa Marie recently attended the Golden Globes awards with her mother to support Austin Butler and the team behind the 2022 film Elvis.

Butler won the award for Best Actor in a Drama, Motion Picture and he gave a shoutout to the Presleys for their support during filming.

"The Presley family, thank you guys for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me," he said.

"Lisa Marie and Priscilla, I love you forever."

He also added a nod to the King.

“And lastly, Elvis Presley himself. You were an icon and a rebel and I love you so much. You are remembered, and I will never forget," Butler said.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lisa said she was blown away by Austin's portrayal of her father.

"I really didn’t know what to do with myself after I saw it," she said.

"I had to take, like, five days to process it because it was so incredible and so spot on and just so authentic that, yeah, I can't even describe what it meant."
