Some people have criticised a photoshoot featuring Heidi Klum and her 18-year-old daughter Leni modelling lingerie together, claiming that it is ‘weird’.
The shoot, which features both Klum women together in their underwear, was taken for Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, but it seems to have proven too much for some observers on the internet.
Like, there’s nothing overly sexual about it really, but you know what some people can be like.
It shows both women photographed in their pants, but of course they’re mother and daughter, so it’s not really like you might think.

In fact, that’s pretty much exactly what the older Klum said in an Instagram post about the shoot.
The 49-year-old model said: "Together with @intimissimiofficial we celebrate women; the love and support between a mother and her daughter; and how confident, beautiful and happy lingerie can make you feel,"
She continued: "Creative director ….my longtime friend @thomashayo Thanks for making us feel confident all day singing and dancing in our @intimissimiofficial.”

For its part, Intimissimi wrote: “Together @heidiklum and @leniklum celebrate The Art of Italian Lingerie,
“Like mother and daughter.
“Every woman has a special place in her heart for her favourite lingerie.”
Obviously though, this had a few people clutching their pearls.

“I like to think I’m progressive in these things but mom and daughter in lingerie in the same video shoot is just a bit ick,” said one.
“The photo is weird and the caption makes it weirder lol,” another commented.
“Really weird. Mother and daughter dancing around in lingery [sic]," commented another.

“Really weird. I love these women but this campaign doesn’t make me want to buy.
“It’s off putting. Who dances half naked with their mom?” wrote a third.
Not everyone thinks it's strange, though.
One defender wrote: “I see nothing wrong with this, nothing disturbing.”

“Beautiful & very classy…more skin is shown in bathing suits…her daughter is 18…legal…they’re both GORGEOUS & the only reason for the negative comments is 100% pure ‘jealousy!’, said another.
Leni, who turned 18 back in May this year, is the daughter of Heidi and Italian former Formula One director Flavio Briatore.
However, Briatore is not involved in Leni’s life, and she was adopted by Klum’s second husband, musician Seal.

While Seal and Klum went through a divorce in 2012 – finalised in 2014 – she has always maintained that he is Leni’s father and the pair remain close.
