Doctor reveals three 'invisible' warning signs that happen just days before a stroke

Dr Eric Berg DC claims the signs can be easily missed

An expert has weighed in on some subtle things which could indicate that you are about to suffer a stroke.

A stroke can prove to be deadly, and while many people are aware of some of the symptoms of a stroke, such as being confused, numbness, or paralysis in the face or arm, people are less aware of some of the signs that a stroke could be coming.

While it is important to be aware, suffering from any of these health issues does not mean that a stroke is definitely going to happen, but it also may not be something to ignore.

A chiropractor doctor on social media regularly talks about other areas of health on his pages and has highlighted some of the 'invisible' signs that can occur in the days leading up to a potential stroke.

Dr Eric Berg DC, who is known as a nutritionist and chiropractor, took to TikTok to claim that there are ‘three early warning signs of a stroke’.

According to the Mayo Clinic, there are two main types of strokes, and both are considered medical emergencies.

It explains: “An ischemic stroke occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is blocked or reduced. This prevents brain tissue from getting oxygen and nutrients. Brain cells begin to die in minutes.

“Another type of stroke is a hemorrhagic stroke. It occurs when a blood vessel in the brain leaks or bursts and causes bleeding in the brain. The blood increases pressure on brain cells and damages them.”

In his video, Berg clarified that there is a difference between the early signs of a stroke and the signs that you had a stroke, addressing that there is often confusion.

He said: “There are three early warning signs of a stroke. These three early signs are not the actual signs that you had a stroke."

"That would be like one side of your face starts drooping and you lose function, or you're trying to move your arm or your leg and it's not working, or you start to talk and your words are slurred. Those are signs that you had a stroke.

"But the earliest signs before you have a stroke are a little bit different.

“Since a stroke causes a blood clot to the brain, you're going to get a lot of pressure that shows up in the brain, and that's going to show up as a severe headache. You can feel very nauseous, almost like you want to vomit. And this can come from stress, adrenaline, or cortisol.

“Another early sign of a stroke could be hiccups that just are not going away.

"The last early sign would be chest pain that is not coming from a heart attack. What's happening is there's a clot that's forming in the artery because you're obstructing oxygen to the heart itself."
