A 51-year-old woman from Morecambe, Lancashire has been told she only months to live after dismissing her deadly symptoms as Mounjaro side effects.
Dawn Clegg had been using the jabs for their original intention, to treat her diabetes, but by March this year, she'd begun to suffer from pains in her chest.
Thinking they were just part and parcel of the Mounjaro experience, the mother brushed these health concerns off before they got too much to handle.
That's when A&E doctors made a truly awful discovery.

Per The Sun, Dawn underwent a number of X-rays, which produced scans displaying shadows on her lungs, breast and kidneys.
She was diagnosed with soft tissue cancer (also known as sarcoma) and then informed that she had less than 12 months to live.

Her husband Arron Clegg is now planning to organise a 'living wake' this November.

"We were devastated on hearing news of cancer in these areas - there is no cure and she is now terminal," he said.
"The wake will mean she can spend quality time with friends and family whilst still alive rather than after the funeral that way she can see how much people care about her."
The receptionist's living wake will be followed by a funeral at Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium, where Dawn will be laid to rest near her late daughter Isobel, who died in childbirth.
A witness of similarly heartbreaking cases, where cancer patients had mistaken their life-threatening symptoms for mere jab side effects, Dr Jack Ogden of The Lagom Clinic told the aforementioned publication: "As a clinician, hearing about cases like this is always sobering.

"It reinforces how easy it is for both patients and healthcare professionals to attribute symptoms to the most obvious cause. In this case, weight loss injections, when something more serious may be underlying."

"It's important to monitor persistent symptoms, keep a log of side effects, and seek prompt medical advice if anything unusual arises," noted Dr Ogden.
According to Ana Carolina Goncalves, a superintendent pharmacist, heartburn, abdominal pain and continual indigestion - all linked to weight loss jabs - could potentially be hiding a much darker reality: liver, bladder or stomach cancer.
"Thyroid swelling or a lump in the neck might be dismissed as an injection side effect, but it could also indicate thyroid cancer," she warned.

"The risk of thyroid swelling has been confirmed as a potential side effect by the manufacturers of both Mounjaro and Wegovy. And nausea is another common side effect of weight loss jabs that can also indicate liver, bladder or pancreatic cancer.
"There’s a lot of overlap between the symptoms of different organ cancers (like liver and pancreatic cancer) because they affect similar areas of the body.
"This can make identification of cancer symptoms difficult, especially when side effects of weight loss injections are also present."
When approached for comment, Eli Lilly, who produce Mounjaro, said to UNILAD: "Mounjaro (tirzepatide) should only be used when prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional, and prescriptions should be fulfilled and supplied by registered pharmacies or providers. We encourage patients to consult their doctor or other healthcare professional to discuss any possible side effects they may be experiencing and to ensure that they are getting genuine Lilly medicine."
