One specific fruit may be able to act in a similar way to Viagra and improve men’s sexual health, according to a recent study.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) can have a devastating effect on people's mental health, and scientists continue to investigate the causes and cures for the common disorder.
Although it is mostly common in older men, it can occur at any age and according to the Journal of Sexual Medicine, erectile dysfunction affects as much as 26 percent of men under the age of 40.
ED can be caused by a range of things, both physical and psychological and there remain loads of treatments available.
Most interestingly, a recent study has come to rather encouraging conclusions about the possible benefits of consuming a fruit that can ultimately improve a man’s sex life.
The study, published in in the journal Current Research in Food Science suggested eating this fruit help reverse erectile dysfunction and improve fertility.

Chances are you have likely even eaten the fruit yourself, as it isn’t exactly obscure or difficult to find in your local supermarket.
What is this ‘miracle’ fruit? Well, it’s watermelon.
The fruit has the capabilities to relax blood vessels by boosting production of nitric oxide.
It read: “Watermelon has played an important dietary and medicinal role throughout the history of mankind.
“However, the mechanism for its therapeutic actions on male reproduction remains unknown.
“The antioxidant properties of watermelon have been shown to improve sperm quality, male sexual dysfunction, and to improve testicle function.”

It added that it is rich it vitamin C, which protects sperm from damage, while the seeds also have positive impacts on the testes and help protect sperm too.
It's also rich in antioxidants, which can reduce the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.
According to Healthline, eating watermelon can also benefit your bones, eyes, skin and digestion, while helping you recover faster after exercise - so it has lots of benefits beyond your reproductive health.
