A realtor has been left shocked after discovering that someone had made off with her entire driveway.
Paige Batten from Tennessee had bought the house back in 2024, hoping to quickly flip it later.
Things appeared to have been going swimmingly with the job, with a buyer coming to visit the property in November this year.
But Paige was in for a shock when she got a call from the potential buyer, as they had a seemingly innocuous question for her that left her shocked and wondering what on earth had happened.

The story was picked up by Local 3 News, who spoke to Paige and neighbours after she realized what had happened to the property, and now Paige may need to fork out thousands of dollars as a result.

Paige explained that the buyer had called her after viewing the property and asked her when she was going to finish the driveway.
The realtor was puzzled as there was nothing particularly urgent about the driveway, and she hadn't been planning to do it.

"I had a call on Saturday morning...and she was like, Hey, we're thinking about putting in an offer," said Paige. "When are you going to finish up the driveway?"
She continued: "And I'm like, well, the driveway had a couple of cracks in it, but we're not planning on redoing the driveway."
Initially they thought that there had been a mixup, with Paige saying: "She's like, well, maybe we're at the wrong house."
But they were at the right house, and Paige found out that someone had come and torn out the entire driveway sometime on November 14.

Neighbours told Local 3 News they had seen three trucks arrive at the address and remove the stones, and assumed the work had been scheduled to be carried out.
These included a trailer, a dump truck which was hauling a backhoe, and a third truck that was carrying equipment.
Now, Paige has been left wringing her hands trying to figure out how this could have happened.

The realtor doesn't even know if the paving slabs were stolen, as valuable stones can be sold on, or whether a crew was sent to the house by mistake or got the wrong address.
She said: “The biggest thing is just trying to, you know, find out who did this, not trying to accuse anybody or anything, but just hopefully somebody will come forward and go, Hey, we made a mistake.
“And, you know, own up to it, and hopefully we’ll get a driveway, porch without us paying out all the money.”
