A woman from Florida made a sinister discovery after searching her husband's name online, which ultimately led to his arrest.
There really is nowhere to hide nowadays, as a simple Google search can lead you to a whole bunch of answers, some leading to more shocking discoveries than others.
Tonya Betsey met Henry Betsey Jr. through the very modern form of dating these days, which is, of course, Tinder. The pair ultimately got on like a house on fire and married in Jacksonville in November 2020.
"Meeting on a dating site and the way he portrayed himself, he sold the perfect person, when in reality he was none of those things," Tonya said.

Tonya quickly came to the realisation that her partner had other women in his life, and after a quick search through county court records, she made the shocking discovery that Betsey Jr. had marriage licenses to two other women.

Remarkably, Tonya was the first person Betsey Jr. married, before tying the knot with Brandy in February 2022, and then Michele just months later in November 2022.
Tonya told WFTS: "I just started county by county, putting in his name. And that's when I came up with the marriage to Michele and the marriage to Brandy."

Meanwhile, Michele told ABC Action News: “She found me and she messaged me, and I had no idea that she was actually still married to him."
The Deccan Herald reported that none of the man's wives knew of each other, and he married in three different counties to help avoid any suspicion from the state coming to light.

Betsey Jr., 50, pleaded guilty to a single felony bigamy charge earlier this year - with all his wives confirming at the sentencing that they met the Florida man on dating websites before saying 'I do' at local courthouses.

The Florida man's wives told the court they believed Betsey Jr. married them to get access to their money, after admitting he was looking for a 'trustworthy' woman to be with.
Betsey Jr. told the court: "I want to apologize to the ladies and I want to apologize to the court administration and to my family and friends that had to be involved in this, because ultimately this is something that I didn’t wish to be part of."
He was ultimately sentenced to two years' probation, meaning he will avoid jail time.
