The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

Fleishman, often referred to as Eric the Trainer, was one of the most well-known and respected figures within the fitness industry.

He was behind a whole range of celebrity transformations including Ethan Suplee, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Kirstie Alley.

Alongside his work as a PT, Eric also had a fitness consulting business and was a frequent contributor to Muscle and Fitness magazine where he sat on its advisory board.

In short, he was an inspirational figure in the world of physical training.

Outside of the gym, he was much loved by his family, with his relatives now welcoming the community to join them in celebrating his life.

To do so, they have set up an email address – [email protected] – which people can send experiences, memories and tributes to.

Per the post: "Please send photos, videos, music, and stories as to how Eric impacted your life.

"Our hope is to assemble these contributions for a Celebration of Life ceremony in the near term.

"The date and time of this event will be forthcoming shortly."

Friends and fans alike have flocked to social media to share their condolences.

That includes actor Carlos PenaVega, who wrote: "Thank you for being such a light in this dark world Eric. Your generosity and positivity were unmatched.
