Katy Perry shuts down haters as she reveals staggering earnings from tour

Katy Perry has shut down some of her harshest critics after revealing the eye-watering amount money she has made from her ongoing world tour.

I think we all know how much money pop stars can make from touring the globe - heck, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour made the 'Blank Space' singer a billionaire.

Perry is currently in the middle of her Lifetimes world tour and has already done sold-out shows in the US, Canada, and Australia, and she will head to South America, Europe, Asia, and even the Middle East before the year is out.

While Perry has shows in Glasgow, Manchester, and London to come, her personal life has become the hot topic of conversation in recent months.

Representatives of Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom and Perry confirmed the pair’s split in June 2025, citing both parties were ‘shifting their relationship’ to coparenting their young daughter, Daisy Dove.

The former couple, who had met in 2016, according to reports, had an on-and-off courtship before eventually becoming engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019. However, the pair never married, and Perry has continued with her tour throughout the news of the separation.

Despite the split, it seems like touring has been highly lucrative for her. The singer has seen 1.1 million tickets sold so far and made a whopping $80 million, according to numbers put together by her management and obtained by Billboard.

And in terms of her love life, rumors have been swirling that she may have a new beau, as one very special guest was seen in attendance at one of Perry's concerts in Canada.

Ex-Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau, who split from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023, was spotted watching Perry perform live on her tour after being seen privately dinning with the singer various times in Montreal.

Reports published in The Sun claimed that Perry wants to have ‘fun’ following her split from Bloom but that she is ‘very much grieving the end of their relationship’. A source told the outlet that her friends ‘don’t want her to rush into something serious’, describing her relationship with Trudeau as a ‘very new flirty friendship’.

Meanwhile, a source allegedly close to the former Canadian PM told People: "Justin didn’t know so many people would find out about the private dinner. He was also surprised by the international interest and how it went through the roof for days.

"Justin and Katy are for sure attracted to each other on several levels and had a wonderful time together in Canada."
