Legendary British singer Freddie Mercury's alleged 'secret child' has made a shocking claim about his death.
Freddie passed away in November 1991 at the young age of age 45, only four years after being diagnosed with AIDS. One of Mercury's close friends, Barbara Valentin, shared an apartment with him and her daughter in Munich, however one woman identified by the name 'B' has also claimed to be the frontman's secret daughter.
The question of whether or not Mercury's alleged daughter exists is a question which still remains unconfirmed to this day, but she would now be 48 years old. She is allegedly living and working in Europe in the medical field, and claims she was conceived during an affair with the wife of a close friend in 1976.
The claims first emerged in May and are supposedly common knowledge between Mercury's close family and friends.

Now, allegations from the daughter have emerged in a handwritten letter which forms the subject of a biography by Lesley-Ann Jones. In the letter, B makes a bold claim about Valentin, suggesting Mercury may have lived longer if it weren't for her.
B wrote: "No one can deny her significance in Freddie's life throughout the two years that their relationship lasted. Had she adopted the same attitude as Mary, and had she tried to keep Freddie's feet on the ground rather than taking him deeper, his immune system might have resisted the virus for significantly longer."
Per the Mail Online, B added: "Instead, she gave him whatever he wanted, and became his partner in debauchery, depravity and decadence."

B has further claimed she had a 'very close and loving relationship' with Mercury, saying: "He adored me and was devoted to me."
She also claims that Mercury gave her 17 personal, handwritten journals which cover the final years of his life.
Despite these claims being well-known among the Queen member's close friends, Queen guitarist Brian May remains 'neutral' on the topic. However, his wife, former Eastenders star Anita Dobson, dismissed the claims as 'fake news'.

A close friend of the singer, Mary Austin, also doubted the fact Mercury had kept the secret of having a daughter to his inner circle.
She said: "The truth is that I am simply not the guardian of such a secret, I've never known of any child, or of any diaries. If Freddie had indeed had a child without me knowing anything about it, that would be astonishing to me."
The alleged secret daughter B responded that she was 'devastated' by Austin's comments.
