The release signals Lamar’s first single as a lead artist since featuring across The Black Panther soundtrack in 2018.

The video, directed by Dave Free in collaboration with Lamar, sees the rapper’s face morphed into several deepfakes, including OJ Simpson, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, and Kanye West.
