Kanye West’s albums are jumping up the charts despite his recent Adolf Hitler comments

People appear to be listening to the disgraced rapper's music even more in light of his support of Nazis.

Three of Kanye West's albums have been rising through the charts despite him giving the worst interview of his career.

The rapper appeared on Alex Jones' InfoWars programme last week, where he revealed he likes Adolf Hitler and said the Nazis did some good things in Germany.

"We’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time," he said on the show.

"The Jewish media has made us feel like the Nazis and Hitler have never offered anything of value to the world."

"I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis."

Many felt it was the final nail in the coffin of Ye's career after weeks of antisemitic and problematic comments.

Kanye West wore a balaclava over his face when he made the remarks.

Despite the shocking support of Hitler and the Nazi party, it seems like people are continuing to listen to his music.

Graduation, one of Ye's biggest albums of all time, has climbed several spots to be number 49 on the US Apple Music Top Albums chart.

Over on the Billboard 200, Graduation jumped up to 107 this week after being 110 last week.

The College Dropout and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy have also re-entered the Billboard 200.

The former sits at number 178, while the latter can be currently found at 198.

While many thought Ye's comments on InfoWars would send all of his fans running for the hills, it appears there is a very vocal minority playing his greatest songs on repeat.

But there is a big campaign brewing to get the rapper's music removed from streaming services.

More than 67,000 people have signed a petition calling on the likes of Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music to boot Ye's solo catalogue.

Petition creator, Nathan, wrote on Change.org: "Our society has no place for people who spread that kind of hate to be making millions off of their work."

He added: "I hope that we can limit Kanye’s influence on society by eliminating his ability to make money off of people streaming his music.

"His statements are virtually irredeemable, and the time has finally come for him to receive a major punishment.

"We cannot let him continue to influence our youth and our society as a whole."

UNILAD has reached out to Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music for comment on the petition.

Ye double downed on his shocking comments this week by telling Jewish people to 'let it go' and forgive Hitler.

It was one of multiple problematic, incorrect and antisemitic things he said during the interview.

But it will be interesting to see whether people keep listening to his music if he keeps making these bizarre statements.
