Akon defends Kanye West for saying he 'loved' the Nazis and admired Adolf Hitler

Akon has come out and defended Kanye West over his latest anti-semitic comments.
The singer was a guest on Alex Jones' Infowars show last week, along with white supremacist Nick Fuentes, who is known for making incredibly offensive remarks about the LGBTQ community, women, and ethnic minorities.
During the show, Ye, as he is now known, said that he 'loved Nazis' and that he 'liked Hitler'.

The 45-year-old said: "I see good things about Hitler. Every human being has value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.
"I like Hitler. ... I’m not trying to be shocking, I like Hitler. The Holocaust is not what happened, let’s look at the facts of that and Hitler has a lot of redeeming qualities."
Understandably, his comments went down about as well as you'd expect, which is to say not at all.
Many have called for the musician, who recently announced that he was running for president, to have his music removed from Spotify.
West was later banned from Twitter following a series of erratic tweets after the interview.
One of his posts included a symbol that combined a swastika and a Jewish star.
However, when asked about the situation and what Kanye had said, Akon said he didn't really care as it doesn't affect him.
And he asked Ye's critics to 'understand the situation' before they hit back at him.
Speaking on Sky News, he said: "I show support for opinion and I think people will always have a specific opinion and I think the moment we get to the place where we close our minds up to other people's opinion, it kind of doesn't allow us to get to better know each other...
"I think sometimes we should open up our minds and let things play all the way out and better understand the situation."
But while he said he backed the 'right to believe what you want to believe', the Smack That singer claimed that he would let Kanye know that he didn't agree with his words if they met.
Asked if he was offended or worried about his comments, Akon said: "Not really, because those comments don't really affect me personally... and if it does affect you personally then find a way to actually respond in a way to where that conversation can be reciprocated.
"I think sometimes when someone is offended they just lash out in defence, or lash out to make that person feel the same offence that they felt, and I think when you take negative and apply a response negatively, you will only get negative back.
"Don't take things too personally yet until you understand the situation."
