The Legend of Ochi - 5.8/10

Having released on Max earlier this year, The Legend of Ochi has impressed fans and is certainly something you can binge this weekend.
The family/adventure movie follows a young girl who slowly realises to never go outside after dark to avoid bumping into the forest creatures known as the ochi.
But Yuri embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite a baby ochi with its family after it's left behind by the pack, despite the obvious dangers she has been warned about since early childhood.
The Legend of Ochi sits at a 5.8/10 IMDb score, while the film has achieved an impressive 76 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.
Leandro Ariel Porcelli, from Cinéfilo Serial, penned: "A type of adventure we've seen before but that thanks to filmmakers willing to conjure charms impossible to replicate with only digital tools, it ends up deserving of being enjoyed and recommended by old-school movie magic fans."

Night Always Comes - 6.6/10

Next up on this week's recommended list is Netflix's Night Always Comes, a new movie that dropped on the streaming platform this week.
The new release follows a woman who resorts to desperate measures in a bid to raise a whopping $25,000 in just one night.
Why you may ask? Well, her family is facing eviction in a city they can no longer afford to reside in, leading to the main character plunging herself into extremely dangerous situations.
Vanessa Kirby stars in Night Always Comes, alongside Julia Fox, Zack Gottsagen and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Night Always Comes sits at an respectable 6.6/10 on IMDb - meaning it's a must watch this weekend for anyone interested in drama-filled adventures.

Highest 2 Lowest - 7/10

Apple TV's Highest 2 Lowest dropped on the streaming platform this week, and it's certainly something you'll want to get stuck into over the weekend.
The movie includes a star-studded cast of Denzel Washington as David King, Jeffrey Wright as Paul Christopher, and Ilfenesh Hadera as Pam King.
A$AP Rocky also features in the movie as Yung Felon in a high stakes setting that sees a music mogul targeted by a ransom plot.
Highest 2 Lowest comes in at 7/10 on IMDb, and it's Rotten Tomatoes score is even more impressive at 93 percent.
Lindsey Bahr, from the Associated Press, penned in her review of the movie: "Highest 2 Lowest may not reach the heights of some of Lee’s best films, but it’s the kind film that makes you hope Lee and Washington have more to make together."

Limitless: Live Better Now - 8/10

Chris Hemsworth's Limitless: Live Better Now dropped on Disney+ this Friday, in what is a continuation of the series that sees the actor push himself to his limits.
Having already accumulated a fanbase over the years for starring as Thor in Avengers and featuring in Transformers, fans are certainly excited to see the return of Hemsworth this week.
This time around, Hemsworth is discovering how we can all live better as he tackles pain, fear and cognitive decline.
Some of his mammoth tasks that form part of the new series include climbing the Swiss alps to embrace risk, as well as join the South Korean Special Forces in a truly bizarre challenge.
Limitless has a 8/10 IMDb score as fans tuck into three new episodes of the Hemsworth this weekend.

Alien: Earth - 8/10

Yes, it's the latest Alien spin-off that tops the charts this week after releasing on Disney+ earlier on in the week.
The series, which is a prequel to the 1979 Ridley Scott classic, follows seventeen-year-old James, who is convinced he’s a psychopath.
Bored with killing animals, he decides it’s time to move on to a human, and classmate Alyssa seems like the perfect target.
As expected, things well and truly hit the fan.
One fan dubbed the new horror flick a 'masterpiece', stating: "#AlienEarth truly is a masterpiece in every way possible. Far exceeding anything I've seen from the franchise in years...
