If you're looking for your New Year's binge-watch, look no further than Netflix's Kaleidoscope, which is bound to keep you entertained for hours.
And we mean that quite literally, as the aptly titled thriller series can be watched a whopping 5,040 different ways – and that's only if you follow the only rule to save the episode titled 'White' for last.
Now, even the most passionate TV lovers out there might find this a little overwhelming, but don't fret. One viewer has figured out the best order of episodes so people don't have a meltdown like they did after watching Black Mirror's interactive movie Bandersnatch several years back.

Before we get into it, let's take a look at what you need to know about Kaleidoscope.
The official synopsis reads: "Spanning 25 years, the show follows a crew of masterful thieves who work to unlock a seemingly unbreakable vault for the biggest payday in history.
"Before they can get their hands on the cash, they must make it through the world's most powerful corporate security team and the FBI."

It has a non-linear plot, meaning it's up to you to decide which order to watch the eight episodes in, with each instalment being named after a colour. You've got Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Violet and White.
As said, the only suggestion from creator Eric Garcia is to watch White last, as it's intended to be the finale and is centred on the actual heist – the rest is up to you.
If you decide to stray away from the one rule, you'll be left with an eye-watering 40,320 different ways to watch Kaleidoscope.

For instance, the following order – Red, Yellow, Pink, Green, Orange, Violet, Blue and White – is the best for lovers of mystery.
Meanwhile, Yellow, Green, Orange, Violet, Blue, White, Red and Pink is great for people who are big on introductions and conclusions, and so on.

They also included how they wished they'd watched it, although you may notice that the finale isn't at the end.
Vulture writer Keith Phipps has created a similar guide to the mind-boggling series, and his retrospective ideal order is as follows: Yellow, Violet, Orange, Green, Blue, Red, Pink and White.

We're backing the idea of Yellow going first. As Phipps explained: "The episode introduces all the major characters while leaving some details of their past and why they’re on the team in the first place in the shadows."
