Warning: Stranger Things season four volume one spoilers ahead.

A Stranger Things fan has leapt to social media after recognising the voice of one of season four's characters.

Season one, volume one of the hit Netflix sci-fi horror series may have only launched last Friday, 27 May, but fans have been quick to power their way through despite the whopping length of the episodes.

While many have taken to social media to object to the creepy grandfather clock, others have jumped to TikTok in excitement after recognising the voice of one of Stranger Things 4 - Volume 1's main characters as being an actor who also stars in another extremely popular series.

A TikToker who goes by the name @itsashleimajor posted a clip from one of the season's episodes containing Russian prison guard Dmitri 'Enzo' Antonov, played by actor Tom Wlaschiha.

After reversing the camera to show the shock and confusion on her face, the screen then shows a clip from Game of Thrones.

Wlaschiha featured in the hit HBO series in the second, fifth and sixth seasons.

He appeared as one of the faceless assassins, Jaqen H'ghar.

The actor also took on the voice of Jaqen for the German dub of the series.

The TikTok has amassed more than one million views, 88,000 likes and floods of comments with fans of both iconic shows having been left extremely relieved by the revelation.

One agreed with the user who posted the original video, who noted she 'couldn't put his face' to where she'd seen it despite recognising Wlaschiha's voice.

They said: "I was rattling my brain trying to remember where I've seen him before."

Another user condemned GOT fans who didn't immediately recognise the star. "I am absolutely bewildered by anyone who watched GOT that didn't get it was him immediately! painfully obvious, he is iconic!" they commented.

However, one TikToker was extremely grateful for the clarification. "OMG THANKYOU!! I was trying to figure this out," they said.

Others pointed out how the actor has also featured in many other noteworthy films and series.

"001 is also from Sweeney Todd and twilight he is one of the members of the vultury," one said.

Another wrote: "Eddie is also one of the guards that wouldn’t let Arya back into winterfell in season 7."

"He's also in season 2 of Jack Ryan," a third said.

A TikToker revealed how she realised actor Tom Wlaschiha also starred in Game of Thrones.

A final user added that they hope Wlaschiha's Stranger Things character makes it to season five.

They said: "He was a really cool character."
