People Blown Away After Realising Two Key Stranger Things 4 Characters Were In Game Of Thrones

Stranger Things fans were shocked to learn that two of the cast members were in Game of Thrones.

Stranger Things fans were shocked to learn that two of the cast members were in Game of Thrones.

Yep, seems like Stranger Things isn't done surprising us yet, because before the team was traipsing Hawkins, it turns out two of them had trekked to the land of the White Walkers.

However, sharing cast members is where the comparison between the series stops, as in a recent interview show co-creator Matt Duffer explained the series certainly isn't Game of Thrones.

As we all know, Joseph Quinn plays Eddie Munson in Stranger Things, and Tom Wlaschiha plays Enzo, a prison guard in the Hopper storyline.

But turns out that Joseph was also a guard in season 7 of Game of Thrones, while Tom played the Faceless Man Jaqen H'ghar in season 2.

Naturally, people were blown away by the revelation and took to Twitter to share their shock.

One user wrote: "Dude!! I had no idea that’s awesome! You got some dope posts!"

While another said: "BRO WTH IM SHOOK."

A third added: "Wtffffff I knew Enzo looked familiar. Couldn’t make out where I recognize him from."

However, as Eleven herself said, that's where the comparisons between the series stop.

In a recent interview with The Wrap, Millie explained the Netflix hit will never be a brutal series, with Matt Duffer going on to say it's certainly not Game of Thrones.

The actor said of the series creators: "The Duffer brothers are two sensitive Sallies that don’t want to kill anyone off."

Matt responded to this on the Happy Sad Confused podcast by saying: "Just as a complete hypothetical, if you kill Mike, that's depressing. We aren’t Game of Thrones. This is Hawkins, it’s not Westeros. The show becomes not Stranger Things anymore because you do have to treat it realistically, right?"

Still, we're glad to hear we won't have to grieve masses of fictional characters in Stranger Things.
