Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed his first impression on seeing son Patrick Schwarzenegger's 'weenie' in shocking scene for HBO's The White Lotus.
It's that time of year again when Variety graces our socials with Actors on Actors, which always ends up giving us some delicious celebrity tidbits we didn't know we needed.
Not only that, but they put together dream team celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Quinta Brunson, Deadpool and Spider-Man (Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield) and now, father and son duo Arnold and Patrick Schwarzenegger, who talk about The Terminator, nepo babies and Patrick's infamous 'weenie' scene.

You knew it was going to come up, if you'll pardon the pun.
In case you aren't a fan of The White Lotus and have no idea what I'm talking about, the show is famous for it's nude scenes, gorgeous backdrops in various countries, and shocking storylines (yes, I'm talking about the incest one).
A black comedy that spoofs the wealthy and how they live, the show has attracted some huge names in its three season run, including the likes of Aubrey Plaza, Jennifer Coolidge, Aimee Lou Wood and, of course, baby Schwarzenegger.

And on the topic of Patrick's newfound popularity, papa Schwarzenegger said: "A year ago, Variety would’ve never asked us to sit here and have this discussion. But now you came out with 'The White Lotus,' [and] you went through the roof.
"Your acting surprised the hell out of me. I didn’t recognize you. I was blown away. How do you feel about this great success?"
Nice words to hear from your dad, to which Patrick replied: "Well, thank you. This is a surreal moment for me, because as much as we get to talk, we would never have a 45-minute conversation about acting. One of the best parts about being on the show is the amount of people that get to recognize [my] work; I’ve done so many shows that not so many people have seen."
The Expendables actor continued: "Now everyone is coming up to me in the gym and saying, 'Your son is fantastic.' Someone else comes up to me and says, 'I hated your son in the series.'"

You know, people, it's okay to keep some things to yourself, but on this occasion we can let it slide as the person was, in fact, talking about Patrick's character.
Which brings us onto Arnie's feelings about seeing his son in the buff on the TV along with the millions of other people watching.
"I couldn’t believe [it]," the father-of-five revealed.
"I said to myself, 'I’m watching your show, and I’m watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. 'What is going on here? This is crazy.' Then I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in ‘Conan’ and ‘Terminator,’ so don’t complain about it.' But it was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps so closely."

As shocked as his dad might have been at first, it seems Patrick sees it all as part of the art of filmmaking, as he said: "Oh, yeah. I guess the similarity from 'Terminator' to 'White Lotus' was that you were working on a project with James Cameron, who is one of the greatest directors of all time. For me, it was a blessing to work with the writer, the director, the creator of 'White Lotus'—because Mike does everything. Same with James Cameron, right?"

Speaking of director Mike White, Patrick also revealed in the interview that White told him his name, Schwarzenegger, came with 'baggage', as the conversation turned to how Patrick felt about the name not only being a 'big plus', but at times an 'obstacle'.
"Mike White said that it comes with baggage, the idea that when you have successful parents like I do with you and Mom, there’s an added level of what other people think.

"Mike was worried about, if he cast me, what other people would think. Which they did—they did care about that; people said I got the role because of you and Mom."
I think it's safe to say that Patrick has proved his salt, good on White for taking a chance.
The White Lotus has been renewed for season 4 and seasons 1-3 is currently available to watch on HBO Max.
