Supporters of Donald Trump have called for TV host Jimmy Kimmel to be sacked for the comments he made about Charlie Kirk's assassination.
Kirk was killed while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on September 10.
The conservative activist arrived on campus for the first leg of his 'American Comeback Tour', organized by Turning Point USA, which he co-founded and stood as executive director.

However, not long into a debate in front of around 3,000 people, Kirk was fatally shot in the neck.
22-year-old Tyler Robinson has since been charged with seven offences, including aggravated murder and obstruction of justice.
Talk show host Kimmel recently addressed the tragedy on Jimmy Kimmel Live by playing a clip of Donald Trump being asked by a reporter outside of the White House how he was 'holding up' in the wake of Kirk's death.

The president immediately responded with, 'I think very good', before changing the subject to the renovations taking place at his Washington, D.C. residence right now.
Trump continued: "And by the way, right there you see all the trucks. They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they’ve been trying to get for about 150 years. And it's gonna be a beauty.
"It'll be an absolutely magnificent structure."
The comments were criticised by Kimmel, who said: "He’s at the fourth stage of grief: construction. This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish, OK?"

Kimmel then went on to play a clip of Trump chatting with Fox News last week, where he responded to a question about Kirk's assassination with an answer about his upcoming White House ballroom.
Commenting on the president's comments once more, the talk show host said: "There’s something wrong with him, there really is. Who thinks like that?
"We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterise this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."

Kimmel's comments have certainly not gone down well among Trump supporters, with many taking to X to vent their frustration.
"He should be f**king sacked over this," one person commented, while a second described the remarks as 'absolutely disgusting'.
Someone else added: "He’s gotta be fired over this."
Kimmel isn't the only celeb to face backlash for their comments about Kirk, as a number of others have also been slammed for their controversial remarks.
