Donald Trump has addressed Jimmy Kimmel's show being taken off air following the talk show host's remarks about Charlie Kirk.
Kimmel's late night TV show has been on air for over two decades but it has now been suspended indefinitely after the comic made some remarks about Trump and his followers in the wake of Kirk's assassination.
Confirming that the programme will be off air for the foreseeable, a spokesperson for ABC told BBC News: "Jimmy Kimmel Live will be pre-empted indefinitely."
The veteran talk show host is yet to address the matter, but the likes of Ben Stiller has condemned ABC for it's decision. He said on Twitter of the news: "This isn't right."

Others haven't been in support of Kimmel though and many Republicans called for the 57-year-old to be fired.
What did Jimmy Kimmel say?

During his opening monologue on Monday night's episode (September 15), Kimmel said, as per NBC News: "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it.

"And in between the finger pointing, there was grieving on Friday. The White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level you can see how hard the president is taking this."
He went on to call out the president for putting his supposed grief aside to focus on the construction of the White House's controversial new $200 million state ballroom.
Taking a swipe at Trump, Kimmel said: "Yes, he’s at the fourth stage of grief: construction. Demolition, construction. This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish, OK?"
How has Trump responded?

The POTUS has celebrated Kimmel being taken off air and took time out of his UK visit to see King Charles to post a message on Truth Social.
"Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED," Trump penned.
"Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!"
UNILAD have approached Kimmel's reps for comment.
