
Fans are demanding Ebon Moss-Bachrach win an Emmy after his performance in an 'incredible series' which boasts a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes rating.
The biographical drama miniseries follows the rise and demise of an American private biotech company, founded in 2003 by a then 19-year-old.
Theranos Inc raised an eye-watering $700 million from venture capitalists in its heyday after it claimed it could carry out blood tests with a precise automated device.

However, founder Elizabeth Holmes and the organization were rumbled in 2015 when researchers and an investigative journalist uncovered the horrifying truth, landing bosses behind bars for charges from fraud to conspiracy.
Now, the shocking scandal has been retold in the series with a star-studded line-up, including Amanda Seyfried, Naveen Andrews, Stephen Fry and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
While The Dropout first landed on Hulu back in March 2022, viewers are re-discovering the thrilling story with dozens applauding its 'gripping' plot and 'great cast.'
Over on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a near-perfect score of 90 percent as critics say it boasts the 'darkly comedic limited series' and has a 'slick execution'.
However, other viewers say one actor in particular delivers a stand-out performance.

Moss-Bachrach was tasked with bringing to life The Wall Street Journal investigative reporter, John Carreyrou, who ultimately exposed the fraudulent practices of the multibillion-dollar company.
The Pulitzer Price reporter also went on to write the novel Bad Blood about Holmes.

"Watching The Dropout and reached where Ebon Moss-Bachrach shows up. This mf is such a good actor," reflected one viewer. "He's very convincing as a reporter in this show but that's literally Cousin Richie."

Another said on Twitter that the 48-year-old star ought to have an Emmy.
Moss-Bachrach, most known for his role as restaurant manager Richie Jerimovich in the comedy-drama, The Bear, has been nominated twice for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series as well as two Golden Globe nominations - and according to fans, he deserves to win it.
"Watching The Bear and The Dropout at the same time and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is in both shows playing totally different characters," another stan wrote. "I barely recognized him except for his hairline. Give this man an Emmy already."

The New Yorker has also bagged major TV roles including his break out role as Desi in the HBO series Girls, NOS4A2 and appeared in the first season of Star Wars: Andor in 2022.
This year, he also played Benn Grimm / The Thing in The Fantastic Four: First Steps and is tipped to reprise the role in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
