Terrifier 3 has scenes so horrific that even people working on the movie struggled to watch

Horror fans are 'hyped' over team member's reaction to 'first look' footage for Terrifier 3

The team behind Terrifier 3 has revealed one employee's reaction to viewing 'first look' footage from the film.

If - for some reason I cannot comprehend - you've already made your way through the top 20 horror movies according to science and are craving more skin-crawling content, then how about a horror film so horrific it left a member of the team struggling to watch it?

Watch the trailer if you dare:

Despite not being set for release for a good few months yet, the anticipation for Terrifier 3 has already been building.

Earlier this year, director Damien Leone took to Twitter to reveal the team had 'just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise'.

It was even revealed that lead actor, David Howard Thornton (who plays the role of the Art The Clown), reportedly found some scenes so awful he 'couldn't handle it on set' and subsequently nearly threw up.

And apparently it wasn't just hard for those starring in the movie to film the scenes, but members of the team involved in distributing the film too. One member of the film's distribution team, Signature Entertainment, had a particularly hard time when looking over the 'first look' footage.

Signature Entertainment took to Twitter on 18 July to share a clip of a member of the UK team's reaction after they 'witnessed a first look at footage'.

The black and white video shows an employee wincing and then covering her eyes with her hand, turning her face away from the screen and peeking back to get another glance now and again.

However, it doesn't take long for her hand to fly from her mouth to her eyes as she really struggles to watch, jolting away from the screen every now and again. Whatever is on screen is clearly too much for her to see, so, will you be able to hack it?

Signature Entertainment's caption adds: "She'll never be the same again. Experience what she saw & more only in cinemas 11 October."

The video is truly the only advertisement the movie needs and people have been flocking to the comments to weigh in.

One Twitter user said: "Hyped hyped I wanna see the footage now."

"My eyes are going to bleed with how much I love what I’m seeing," another added.

A third commented: "Bro is going ham in this movie! Cannot wait."

And a fourth resolved: "BRING... IT...ON."

Terrifier 3 is currently set to hit screens on 11 October, 2024. Distributed by Signature Entertainment.
