The woman who provides the voice for Bart Simpson apparently didn't answer all questions fans posed to her in a Q&A.
Nancy Cartwright has a very famous voice very few of us wouldn't recognise, having played The Simpsons' son, Bart, as well as other characters, for decades since the animated sitcom premiered.
In 2023, the star was honored with an award for reaching 'Patron Excalibur with Honours' status, due to having donated $21 million to the Church of Scientology.
Apparently a keen follower of the religion, created by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, the 68-year-old has been very generous indeed since converting to the doctrine in 1991, giving huge sums to support it over the years.

Now, Cartwright has appeared in a Reddit 'ask me anything' thread where fans were keen to quiz her on her career and some behind-the-scenes bits in the beloved cartoon.
However, according to a separate thread, the Scientology thing didn't apparently come up, despite being just as renowned as a follower of the faith as she is as Bart Simpson.
"She is known for exactly two things: voicing Bart and being a Scientologist," said one on Reddit, rousing suspicion to the original Q&A thread.
"She f***ing donated 10 million!! She isn't some lowly member," chimed another, while a third pointed wrote: "Ask Me Anything... Well, not anything."
"First thing I did was search for any scientology questions, and I found the conspicuous absence pretty telling. I wasn't surprised, but it still kind of irked me," echoed a fourth.
Some eagle-eyed Reddit users suspect mods might have removed any Scientology-related questions fans might have asked Cartwright, keeping it strictly Simpsons' business.

For instance, the fact Cartwright happens to be Sabrina Carpenter's aunt also didn't come up, which another Redditor was surprised to discover.
However, dozens were keen to say their thanks to the Ohio-born voice actor, stating she has 'influenced generations' with her work in TV, including Rugrats.
"Thank you so much for all that you’ve given and your brilliant performances!" penned one fan who went on to ask her what she thinks has changed the most for Bart over the course of the series.
"Actually, when we were on the Tracey Ullman show, I think Bart was mostly antagonistic and that definitely has a sort of humor to it, but mostly because people are rejecting him being so mean," Cartwright said.
"When we switched to the half hour episodes, you need a more dimensional character. There's more opportunity to have humor that's not solely based on violence and beating up Lisa. As the years have gone by it's been more about Bart's antics and more good-natured situations he get's in."
The mom-of-two also described the moment she realized The Simpsons were going to be a big hit.
"I don't remember exactly but it was sometime in the early 90s.
"We had only done a few seasons and I remember that I was turning down more requested auditions than what I was actually auditioning for."
She continued: "As I was looking at a part that someone wanted me to read for I just went: 'The Simpsons is gonna be huge!'
"So I decided not to take up more roles from other upcoming voice actresses and just dedicate myself to Bart and the rest of my characters."
She also comedically jibed with the fans, telling some to 'Eat my shorts', as per Bart's famous catchphrase and revealed she has to bring lozenges to work if she's tasked with a 'Nelson-heavy script'.
