Home Alone fans can't help but point out this one issue they have with an iconic scene that they consider the film's most annoying error.
With Christmas only a few days away, there is no better time to break out the Macaulay Culkin-led film, Home Alone. If, by some anti-Christmas miracle, you haven't seen this classic, the film works on a pretty simple premise.
Kevin (played by Culkin) is mistakenly left home alone while his family goes abroad for the holidays.
Kevin, who may be the brightest eight-year-old to ever have to defend a home, has to protect his lavish home from two burglars, the Wet Bandits (played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern).

In pure slapstick gold, Kevin is able to outwit the pair at every turn and... well, hilarity ensues.
But some fans, who watch the flick each year, are bothered by a scene that has really bugged them, and they often take to social media to vent about it.
The scene in question shows Kevin carrying his haul of groceries home in two plastic bags, but things don't exactly go to plan.

The eight-year-old is strolling on the sidewalk when the two grocery bags suddenly burst open at the same time, spilling their contents all over the ground.
The method used to make the bags break was not exactly well hidden, as the trick involves Culkin clutching some string between the handles of the shopping bags and, seemingly upon instruction, pulling the strings to break the plastic bags at the same time.
As well as the string trick, the cartons of milk and juice that spill out also appear empty.
Fans online claim the blunder continues to irritate them, as one person wrote: "Biggest pet peeve is empty containers!!! Fill them up with water at least."
Meanwhile, others have long questioned how Kevin's family could have 'forgotten' to take the youngster with them, with some fans noticing a tiny detail.

The night before the flight, Kevin argued with his older brother, Buzz, which resulted in a litre of milk being spilt all over the table and the plane tickets.
Kevin's dad, Peter, then 'accidentally' threw away one of the plane tickets when cleaning up the mess, which viewers speculate could be why the family miscounted Kevin from the roll call.
A viewer wrote: "I’ve seen Home Alone ~25 times and it wasn’t until this most recent time I realised the dad threw away a plane ticket when cleaning up spilled milk at the beginning.
"That's why they never had an extra ticket."
