Fans of Home Alone have spotted something which they say is so bad, it 'ruins Christmas'.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and that means breaking out the Christmas classics to get in the festive spirit.
There are, of course, plenty of films out there which make Christmas, whether it's the Grinch tormenting the suburbs of Whoville, the charm of Muppets Christmas Carol, or insisting that Die Hard is a Christmas film - we get it, you're edgy.
But one firm staple of the festive season is Home Alone, where the abandoned Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) devises a series of horrifying booby traps and torture devices to use on two hapless small-time criminals who picked the worst possible house to burgle.

The movie's charm, humor, and heart saw it become both a commercial success and a Christmas classic, and sparked a whole franchise of sequels.

But while it remains popular, TikToker @1minutecritic spotted some technical errors in the film.
So, what are these mistakes that's caused such a strong reaction?
The first comes from a relatively throwaway moment in the film, where a child is bothering a van driver.
As the van driver says 'gee kid I dunno, hit the road', a close up on the child shows that he was mouthing the actor's line as he said it.
In another scene, our hero Kevin is preparing to ride a sledge down the staircase.
A shot looking down the stairs shows that the staircase does not line up with the front door of the house.
Nonetheless, Kevin makes it out of the door - and not only that but as he flies through the air a set of wheels are visible on the prop sledge.

Another error is in the continuity.
In one scene, Kevin is wearing dark pants, but by the time the character gets back to the house the garment has changed into a pair of blue jeans.
Then, just moments after he has arrived home and is preparing a booby trap, the pants have switched back again.
Nonetheless, the TikToker took a moment to reiterate that he still loves the movie despite the errors.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts, with one writing: "I didn’t notice because I love this movie."
Another wrote: "This movie can have 1000 flaws and i’d still love it."
But someone else took a different view, writing simply: "Christmas ruined. Thanks man."
Oh dear.
