While TikTok can be enjoyed by all age groups, there is no questioning that its demographic is those below 35.

Nonetheless, legendary film director Martin Scorsese is ever-present on the popular video platform site thanks to his daughter, Francesca Scorsese.

The 80-year-old often features in his daughter's popular TikTok videos, and it's fair to say they often go viral.

They are often quite comedic short clips too, though perhaps the most memorable is a video just shy of five minutes that has garnered a whopping 2.4 million views.

Funnily enough, the video dropped in the midst of a busy time for Scorsese as he was conducting press interviews for Killers of the Flower Moon.

Nonetheless, the film director had time to figure out what a bunch of British terms meant, including 'tea', 'slept on' and 'hits different'.

Speaking of the time she first introduced her dad to TikTok in 2021, Francesca said: "He was in the middle of work and I was like, ‘Do this stupid video with me.’ And I think it was a nice little break for him, even if it was just for a couple of minutes.

"He literally still comes to me and he’s like, ‘If we do another one, it has to be funny and interesting—it has to be a good idea like the feminine-products one."

The duo are certainly funny on TikTok.

But one type of TikTok the famed director will definitely not be seen on your phone doing is anything dancing related.

Francesca revealed he enjoys 'funny and interesting TikToks but draws the line at dancing.'

While dancing may be off the cards, the pair will continue to sing to their large following and become more viral in the process.

One of Francesca's most popular TikToks of her and dear old dad is a video titled 'Dad Guess Slang' did particularly well back in October, as the legendary film direct discovered what 'GOAT' means.

"He was like, ‘Oh, that’s what it means! Everyone keeps saying that to me.’ Rick, his manager, and Leo”—yes, DiCaprio—“they’re like, ‘you’re the GOAT,'" Francesca revealed.

"It ended up blowing up more than we could have ever imagined," she speaks of the video now.

"Now I feel like I’ve opened a Pandora’s box."
