Anya Taylor-Joy leaves people cringing after she tries taking selfie with fan's Android phone
Anya Taylor-Joy had a slightly awkward encounter with a fan in Brazil who wanted a selfie with her.
Anya Taylor-Joy is very much about the Apple life, something that is certainly obvious thanks to a recent fan interaction.
While the technology used in both Apple and Android devices is fairly similar these days, you'll know actually using them on a day-to-day is a completely different story.
Anya Taylor-Joy is seemingly an Apple user and doesn't know how to use an Android mobile - and quite frankly, I think a lot of us can relate.
The actor was at the CCXP convention - essentially Brazil's Comic-Con - over the past few days where she had a rather awkward interaction. Watch it below:

There have been some pretty awkward interactions celebrities have had with fans over the years, but this from Taylor-Joy is surely up there.
At Brazil's Comic-Con, Taylor-Joy was happy to oblige when fans wanted to take selfies with her.
In a video shared to X - formerly known as Twitter - by user @ramon_png, Taylor-Joy can be seen taking a selfie with a fan. Well, trying to anyway.
The person who posted the clip to X claims to be the unfortunate fan.
It starts with the actor taking a smartphone from the fan to take a selfie.
Unfortunately, the device is an Android, and with Taylor-Joy seemingly being an iPhone user, she very much did Apple device habits.

The actor tried to take a picture using the side button, but instead ended up locking the phone.
Completely unaware she had even taken the selfie, Taylor-Joy gave the phone back to the fan.
But the selfie-less fan could then be seen in the viral video opening the camera back up again and handing it back to the star.
The fan seemingly points to where Taylor-Joy should be pressing on the Android device to take the snap.
Despite this, the actor once more pressed the side button on the phone before handing it back to the fan once more.
So, the poor fan was left with no selfie despite asking the celebrity on two separate occasions.
Taking to X, the unfortunate fan penned: "Imagine, you are lucky enough to have Anya Taylor-Joy take your cell phone to take a photo.
"And her bad luck MISSED THE BUTTON TO TAKE THE PHOTO TWICE, SWITCHING OFF HER CELL PHONE!!!
"Well friends, it happened to me, I don't have a photo with Anya Taylor-Joy because of her slowness lol."
