Fans have been given their first look at the Mad Max prequel film Furiosa.

It stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth and the teaser is nothing short of epic.

We're back in the desolate landscape from 2015's Fury Road and the film is set '45 years after the collapse'.

Furiosa (Taylor-Joy) gets snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers when she's just a child and she is handed over to a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus (Hemsworth).

The plot synopsis added: "While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland."

Well, it looks like it will definitely deliver as there appears to be some high-octane moments that will leave you on the edge of your seats.

People who have watched the trailer now have really high hopes for when the movie premieres in May next year.

"Looks amazing. Can’t wait," said one viewer.

    Another added: "Peak cinema incoming."

A third wrote: "Well I think it is fair to say that this was WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Looks incredible."
