Netflix subscribers have sparked a huge debate with a somewhat controversial take on a much-loved series that recently saw new episodes drop on the streaming platform.
There is so much to stream on Netflix nowadays, and once viewers have watched a new series or film, they head to forums on Reddit and Facebook's 'Netflix Bangers' to discuss their thoughts.
Such places on the internet are also a good opportunity to vent about something you had high expectations of that simply didn't live up to the hype.

And one particular controversial take going around on social media right now is that the second season of Tim Burton's Wednesday isn't quite hitting the spot.
Season two marks the return of Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Luis Guzmán, and Catherine Zeta Jones, while the likes of Joanna Lumley, Lady Gaga, and Steve Buscemi have joined the cast.
With Wednesday Addams attempting to master her emerging psychic ability and solve a long-running mystery, there was a lot of anticipation for the new episodes.
However, has it disappointed?

Well, one viewer has taken to the 'Netflix Bangers' Facebook group to say: "Anyone else think the new season of Wednesday isn’t that good? I fell asleep 5 minutes in to the 3rd episode."
Another Netflix subscriber commented: "It was lacking. It had a weird plot that didn't seem very cohesive and seemed like it was style over substance."
While someone else wrote on X: "Wednesday season 2 is not as good as the first one."
Despite some criticism online, the second season of Wednesday sits at an impressive 84 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, which is actually higher than what season one achieved at 73 percent.

Speaking of the second season of Wednesday, co-showrunners and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar told Tudum: "This season, Wednesday’s journey is darker and more complex as she navigates family, friends, new mysteries, and old adversaries, propelling her headlong into another year at Nevermore."
Millar added: "Nothing is what it seems in Season 2. Wednesday goes into this season thinking she knows Nevermore. It’s the first time she’s returned to a school willingly.
"But as soon as she gets back, nothing happens that she’s expecting. She thinks she’s going to be in control, that she knows where all the bodies are buried, and she doesn’t."
Wednesday is available to stream on Netflix now.
