A Netflix series that captivated viewers following its release is now receiving praise all over again thanks to fans going in for another round.

Anyone with a favorite TV show will be used to hitting play on it over and over again, but it's often light-hearted shows like Friends or The Office that top the lists for the endless loops.

Even though we know what happens to the likes of Ross and Rachel and Pam and Jim, the shows continue to provide endless entertainment - but apparently the same can be said for true crime series.

Despite knowing how it all ends, Netflix users have revealed they've started rewatching one particular series which dramatizes real events that unfolded between 2013 and 2017.

Focusing on the story of Anna Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey, the series stars Julia Garner and follows her character as she adopts the persona of a wealthy heiress in upper-class New York.

Over a number of years, Anna defrauded and deceived a number of major businesses for thousands of dollars, all the while keeping up the appearance of an ambitious and put-together socialite.

The Netflix series, titled Inventing Anna, follows a journalist as she looks into Anna's life and attempts to find out who she really is.

It was originally released in February 2022, after which Netflix reported that it had broken the record to become its most watched English-language series in a single week.

The series shot to the top of Netflix's Top 10 TV Shows at the time, but fans are still raving about it more than two years on.

After one Netflix user asked for 'reviews' on Inventing Anna on LADbible's Facebook Bangers page, one fan wrote: "I obsessed over this. I recently started it again."

Another added: "Yes it was amazing when it first came out and still is the third time I’ve watched it lol."

"I loved this. Have watched it multiple times," commented a third.

Other viewers described the series as '10/10', though some critics have been more harsh as the series earned a middling score of 64 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Garner has previously spoken out about how she got into the role for the series, admitting she felt an 'attachment' to the fraudster after playing her for 'almost two years'.

"I understand Anna’s worst fears,” she told Netflix's Tudum. “Anna’s fear of being rejected and fear of failure. That’s something everybody is going to identify with if they watch the show - they’re afraid to fail, to be rejected.”

Inventing Anna is available to stream on Netflix now.
