Netflix fans are still binge-watching a 'mind-warping' TV series with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, hailed a 'must watch'.

Of course, the streamer is packed full of incredible TV shows and movies, although sometimes it can be a little overwhelming to choose what to watch next.

One show had fans staying up until 2am watching, while others are obsessed with a 'dark and disturbing' mini-series which debuted last year.

But seven years after its conclusion, fans are still raving about this '10/10' sci-fi, which has been praised for its gripping storylines and 'gorgeous' visuals.

And even if you're not usually into the genre, it's worth giving this one a shot, as one viewer who was never a sci-fi fan claims they 'couldn't stop watching' the three-season series.

The show's first season debuted on Netflix in 2016 and was co-produced by the streamer and Canadian specialty channel Showcase.

Its cast features a host of famous faces and is lead by Eric McCormack, best known for portraying Will Truman in NBC's Will & Grace.

The Penguin's Jared Abrahamson, See's Nesta Cooper and country singer MacKenzie Porter also feature.

Set hundreds of years in the future, Travelers follows the last surviving humans who discover a way to send consciousness back through time, directly into people living in the 21st century.

These 'travelers' assume the lives of seemingly random people, but they're also secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a 'terrible future', the show's synopsis reads.

The rag-tag team - who include an FBI agent, a single mom and a college student - are helped only by their knowledge of history and an archive of social media accounts.

They soon realize that 21st century relationships are as much of a challenge as their high-stakes missions.

Traveler's third and final season may have concluded in 2018, but people are still only just discovering the top-rated show today.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "What a show! Wrapped up season three and the end just warped my mind. It is sooooo good. A must watch on Netflix."

A second admitted: "I’m currently binge watching Travelers on Netflix. Can’t stop. I’m usually not into anything sci-fi related, but this series is so good."

A third weighed in: "Just rewatched all three amazing seasons of Travelers... [I was] blown away the first time I watched it six years ago. Now its more relevant than ever! Top-tier writing, characters, and acting! I miss it already."

Critics over on Rotten Tomatoes awarded the series a perfect 100 percent score overall, while audience members almost matched them with an impressive 97 percent rating.

Globe and Mail's John Doyle hailed the series 'gorgeously made and menacing in tone from the get-go', while IndieWire’s Hanh Nguyen said: "It contains just enough intrigue for continuous viewing, but is light enough to not over-tax one's spirits."

All three seasons of Travelers are available to stream now on Netflix.
