An action thriller on Netflix is captivating viewers following their long wait for a second season.
Looking for something exciting to kickstart your weekend? Well, look no further than a series that dropped its second offering earlier this year - much to the delight of Netflix viewers.
Based on the novel of the same name, the show follows low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) and Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) as they are thrown into a massive conspiracy at the heart of the White House.

The second season sits at an impressive 86 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, while its first season, which dropped in 2023, languishes not too far behind at 75 per cent.
Not only that, but it was also amongst the top 10 of the Most Viewed Shows on Netflix in the first half of 2025 - sadly, it lost out the top spots to Squid Game and Adolescence.

Known as The Night Agent, series one ended with Peter and Rose uncovering both her family's killers and the truth behind the terrorist attack on DC Metro.

In season two, she searches for him after he goes to ground following a botched mission. Not even FBI head honcho Catherine knows where he is, making for a truly compelling story.
Netflix fans had demanded a second season of The Night Agent for a long time, and they finally got their wish in January.
Now that fans have had the chance to watch The Night Agent season two, many have been discussing their thoughts over on the 'Netflix Bangers' Facebook group - and so far, they love it.
"It's amazing," one person penned, while a second added: "10/10."
While a third remarked: "Love this show."

Fans hopefully won't have to wait too long for season three of The Night Agent, as Netflix confirmed back in February that a third offering in the franchise had begun production.
Shawn Ryan, creator, executive producer, and showrunner of The Night Agent, told Tudum: "We’re so excited to bring new thrills, new worlds, new stunts, new characters, and new adventures to our fans in Season 3.
"We’ll be spanning the globe from Istanbul to New York to Washington, DC to Mexico City and even though we just started filming, we’ve already captured some of our biggest, most spectacular stuff yet. Thanks so much for devouring Season 2 and we look forward to bringing you a bigger and even better Season 3."
While filming is underway in New York and Istanbul, Netflix are yet to detail when season three may be released on to the platform.
