Netflix viewers have been demanding a new season of a 'forgotten' drama with a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score and an 'amazing' cast.
Not like you could ever forget, but 2020 was a time when we we're all stuck indoors and watched an awful lot of content on Netflix and other streaming platforms.
And many viewers had time to tune into shows they typically wouldn't give a chance, with this particular drama seemingly falling into that category.

It launched on Netflix five years ago and, despite being received extremely well by industry critics and fans alike, it's still yet to receive a second season.
Teenage Bounty Hunters follows twin sisters Sterling (Maddie Phillips) and Blair Wesley (Anjelica Bette Fellini), who team up with a bounty hunter named Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison) to navigate the world of bounty hunting, while also encountering the problems that arise with being a teenager at school.
The show also touches on many important topics, including that of LGBTQ+ themes.
Teenage Bounty Hunters has become the hot topic of conversation on the Netflix Reddit forum in a thread discussing 'hidden gems'.

Speaking of the series, one fan penned: "I was SO SAD when they cancelled it."
A second added: "Another disappointing cancellation. It was so good."
Meanwhile, a Twitter user penned: "Ok so everyone needs to go watch teenage bounty hunters on Netflix so I can see this amazing and extremely talented cast make a season 2."

The fact Netflix has never made a season two for Teenage Bounty Hunters is perhaps surprising, considering how well it was received when it released in 2020.
The drama sits at an impressive 94 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, suggesting it's a must-watch for all Netflix subscribers out there.
Brandon Katz, from the Observer, penned in his review: "Teenage Bounty Hunters benefits from its very specific focus on the sub-culture of affluent, conservative, religious suburbia. While it lampoons many of the outdated notions that exist, it never feels as if it's coming from a place of outright mockery."

While Variety's review of the show reads: "Teenage Bounty Hunters is not perfect television, but it's infused with the sort of small-scale, needle-sharp sensibility that can't be achieved by committee, nor, really, by anyone fearful of falling flat."
