Netflix subscribers are obsessed with a 'gripping' and 'visually stunning' series as it returns for a third instalment.
The streaming service is home to more than 7,000 titles, but this 91 per cent rated TV series should definitely be on your radar, if it isn't already.
Based in Japan, the series is being compared to Korea's Squid Game, which concluded in June. Although viewers are admitting they prefer the Japanese series to its neighbor's Netflix hit.

The sci-fi survival drama - which returned for six new episodes on Thursday (September 25) - is set in an eerie, abandoned version of Tokyo.
The story follows a group of characters who suddenly find themselves trapped in the desolate city, where they must compete in a series of dangerous and mind-bending games in order to stay alive.
Starring Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, and Nijirō Murakami, the show first premiered on Netflix in 2020.

Despite its debut a few years ago, the show continues to attract new audiences who are sharing their rave reactions across social media.
The series in question is Alice in Borderland, based on Haro Aso’s manga series of the same name. With its second season earning an 86 per cent critics’ score and a 91 per cent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, Alice in Borderland has firmly cemented itself as a fan-favorite survival thriller.
It's perfect for those looking for another gripping series to dive into - especially if you were left unsatisfied by Squid Game's conclusion.
On the review site, Steve Greene from IndieWire likened Alice in Borderland's second season to 'a dream you try to remember the next morning,' adding: "It doesn’t always make sense. When you’re deep in it, though, there’s nothing else that’s quite like it."

Meanwhile, others were quick to comment on the season's 'shocking' cliff-hanger ending.
Meanwhile, audience members reckoned it was even better than Squid Game, as one said of its second set of episodes: "Better than season one. I enjoyed this more than Squid Game. It actually has more heart felt moments."
"Great characters, intense games, love and death. Unmissable stuff," a second said, as a third weighed in: "Much like season one, the cinematography was stunning, the gore was intense, and the character development was so strong it felt like I was right there with them."
