Netflix fans are recommending a stunning series dubbed one of the most 'creative' sci-fis.

The streaming platform is full of hidden gems, and it isn't until one is brought to our attention that we realize what we've been missing.

Well, Netflix subscribers are still championing an 'incredible' show they say is 'visually brilliant.'

The 12-episode TV series initially released on HBO Max in 2023 before joining Netflix in May 2024. Sadly, it was never renewed for a second season - and while fans are angry, they still absolutely love the series.

It follows the crew members of deep-space ship Demeter 227, which suffers catastrophic failure and crash-lands on the alien planet Vesta.

The surviving crew members find themselves on a lush, sentient world brimming with stunning but deadly lifeforms.

Cut off from civilization and from each other, they must navigate a planet that is as breathtaking as it is lethal.

As they fight for survival Azi, a disciplined engineer, finds herself relying on Levi, a robot assistant whose emotional growth edges toward obsession.

Sam, a sensitive soul, and scientist Ursula, form an alliance that tests the boundaries of trust and trauma.

And Kamen, isolated and wounded, falls under the spell of a telepathic entity known as Hollow, which manipulates his memories, desires and sense of reality.

Told in three intertwining storylines, it explores what it means to be human when stripped of all familiarity.

Taking to the R/BestOfNetflix community, one Reddit user requested: "Recommend some good sci-fi/thriller series, I have watched the hit ones so suggest something interesting."

Among the dozens of replies was one that stood out; the show in question, Scavengers Reign.

People seconded the suggestion, as one person added: "This is an incredible series."

The show scored a perfect 100 percent with Rotten Tomatoes critics. Fans echoed their sentiment, scoring it 96 percent across more than 500 ratings.

Critics hailed it 'disturbing and wondrous," adding: "Scavengers Reign presents a vividly realized world that beckons exploration by its marooned characters and television viewers alike."

One fan said: "It's beautiful, haunting and introspective. Giving it a rewatch at the moment a year later and still hold my original opinion."

A second social media user weighed in: "One of the most creative and interesting sci-fi TV shows I've seen. Visually brilliant with complex characters carrying out a unique and intoxicating storyline."

A third agreed: "It’s a crime this show wasn’t green-lit for season 2. It’s so unique and interesting. The animation is gorgeous. The storyline is brilliant. It’s just not fair."

All 12 episodes of Scavengers Revenge are streaming now on Netflix.
