Netflix subscribers cannot get enough of a 'top-notch' comedy that dropped on the popular streaming platform in 2020 with a near perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.
Not like you could ever forget, but 2020 was a time when we we're all stuck indoors and watched an awful lot of content on Netflix and other streaming platforms.
And many viewers had time to tune into stuff they typically wouldn't give a chance, with this particular music-comedy falling into that category.

Julie and the Phantoms released on Netflix five years ago, and it remains in high regards amongst fans to this very day.
The series tells the story of Julie, a teenage girl who rediscovers her love for music after the tragic passing of her mother.
She ultimately forms a band with three ghostly musicians, who died before achieving their dreams as the 1990s band Sunset Curve.
The group deal with a ton of challenges in what is an extremely compelling story being told.
Julie and the Phantoms stars the likes of Charlie Gillespie, Madison Reyes, Owen Joyner and Jeremy Shada, while Kenny Ortega directed the series.

And PrimeTimer's review of Julie and the Phantoms states: "Though it is, superficially, a show about a girl and the ghosts who are suddenly complicating her life, Julie and the Phantoms is also careful to show viewers that Julie is safe and surrounded by love."
