He's got a dangerous crime syndicate hungry for revenge, while a crooked politician wants him out of the picture.
Things get worse when Walker attempts to save said politician's estranged son, who's embroiled in the drug deal.
Walker begins to uncover a deeper conspiracy - one that links the city's corruption, the police force and his own troubled past.
The movie received luke-warm reviews, racking up a Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 65 percent.

Fans rated it lower, coming it at just 39 percent. Ouch.
In their consensus, Rotten Tomatoes critics described Havoc as 'an anemic crime saga punctuated with bravura action sequences,' adding: "Havoc may feel like a retread of director Gareth Evans' past glories but, for audiences addicted to his balletic style, the formula still rips."
Meanwhile, fans were quick to rip into the movie.

And it was the film's camera work that some viewers couldn't quite get behind.
"It gives me a headache," one fan wrote, adding: "Couldn’t get through the first 10 minutes."
A second agreed, branding the movie a 'Temu Joh Wick.' "Incredibly bad cinematography and don't get me started on the dialogue," they wrote. "I love a hard action movie as well as the next guy but this is not how you do it."

Over on X, formerly Twitter, another fan weighed in: "Netflix’s Havoc has some of the worst CGI chase scenes I have ever seen in the history of film."
But not everyone hated the movie.
Another viewer wrote: "A good movie. Lots of action, has you on the edge of your seat," as a second wrote: "Good action, turn off your brain, movie."
One third reasoned: "Is it perfect? No. It has pacing issues, and the CGI, while effective in context, may not be to everyone’s taste.
"But taken for what it is — a stylized, gritty, hard-hitting crime action film — it exceeds expectations. Just keep those expectations realistic."
Well, there you have it!
Havoc is available to stream now on Netflix.
