The TV series focuses on composer and pianist Álex (Javier Rey), a musician who winds up in a remote Spanish town, attempting to find some peace to compose movie scores.
But in the wake of a freak accident, he starts experiencing eerie visions about his neighbors, Leo Bazán (Guillermo Toledo) and María Vargas (Pilar Castro).
Becoming increasingly uneasy and erratic, he's desperate to protect his children before it's too late - but can he really trust his visions?

The series in question is The Last Night at Tremore Beach, based on the 2014 Mikel Santiago novel of the same name.
The mini-series dropped on Netflix in October 2024, with some thriller fans still only just discovering the series.
Taking to Reddit to discuss the show in the R/Horror community, one fan admitted: "I binged it in two days while experiencing all nighters. I found it to be a wild ride."
Somebody else agreed: "I loved it! The pacing was perfect and every episode was compelling and left me thinking and wondering what would happen next.

A third weighed in: "Just finished it. I liked it very much, even though some plot twists in the end felt a bit over the top. But it was beautifully shot and well paced overall. Can recommend!"
The praise continued over on X, formerly Twitter, where one social media user said: "Stream it...binge it. So worth it. Ending is great."

Over on Rotten Tomatoes, critics scored the show 80 percent, as one praised its 'melancholic beauty with its formal cinematography'.
