Warning: this article contains spoilers for season 5 of Stranger Things

Stranger Things fans aren't letting up when it comes to any editing gaffes or loopholes in the fifth and final season of the show.

We've waited three years for season five of Stranger Things and, as a result, people had extremely high hopes for the last ever episodes.

But viewers have also been going through them with a fine-tooth comb, and have spotted a series of apparent 'mistakes' in the process. The editing faux pas have been quite discreet, but that hasn't stopped eagle-eyed Stranger Things fans from calling Netflix out for them.

One thing people spotted was an Under Armour logo on Holly Wheeler's jacket. The series is set in the late 1980s, but Under Armour wasn't founded until 1996... oops. After this gaffe was pointed out, Netflix appeared to quietly edit out the mistake.

But seemingly that wasn't the only editing mistake. Another fan took to TikTok to point out another editing error in a scene with Will and Robin.

In 'Chapter Two: The Vanishing of Holly Wheeler', Will and Robin are wandering through the woods at night, and during this moment people have spotted something on the ground that doesn't look very woodsy. The thing? Two electric tape scene markers, one blue and one orange.

A clip on TikTok that points this out has been viewed more than a million times and generated dozens of comments. While it's an undeniably silly mistake to make, a lot of people argued that the gaffe wasn't that deep.

"Y’all looking way too hard just enjoy the show," somebody commented. A second added: "I still love the show guys and clearly understand people make mistakes LOL."

Then there's a couple of apparent plot holes in this season which has made fans feel like it's been a bit rushed.

One such plot hole is regarding Mr Clarke. The school teacher is recruited by Erica to build a new tracking device to help them locate Dustin in The Upside Down.

Ultimately, Mr Clarke is debriefed on everything and, while it's undeniably shocking, he remains chill the whole time... I mean, I think we can all agree that we'd have a fair few questions if we'd just learnt about an apparent parallel universe that's being exploited by a humanoid being with psychic powers.

Then there's a plot hole about Max and Hopper. Max wakes up from her 'coma' (which was actually an 18-month trance) and is reunited with her friends in hospital. Despite the fact that when Max was last fully functioning as a normal human everyone was under the impression that Hopper had died, she remained unfazed to see Hopper staring back at her alive and well, Parade points out.

UNILAD have approached Netflix for comment.
