Netflix viewers urge people to watch ‘10000/10’ drama series that is ‘100% binge-worthy’

Fans have taken to social media to rave about an underrated Netflix drama series.

TV fans claim they’ve been balling their eyes out while watching two seasons of an ‘underrated’ Netflix drama.

Back in 2019, the streaming service announced a famous Kristin Hannah novel had been picked up and that it was coming to the small screen.

A year later, the first official teaser trailer for the show was released and the series premiered on February 3, 2021.

The show documents Kate and Tully's friendship from 14 to their 40s.

Of course, we’re talking about Firefly Lane, which stars Katherine Heigl alongside Sarah Chalke and Ben Lawson.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Maggie Friedman-created series, then check out the trailer for the complete first season below.

Firefly Lane follows the ups and downs of lifelong best friends Tully Hart (played by Heigl) and Kate Mularkey (Chalke).

The pair have been thick as thieves since the age of 14 however, during the show, their unbreakable bond is tested beyond belief.

Over the years, viewers get to see the duo weathering various health issues, experiencing gut-busting heartbreak and importantly triumphing through testing times.

The first series of Firefly Lane featured ten episodes and was later renewed by Netflix for a second series on May 26, 2021.

However, fans were gutted to hear on October 3 2022, that the next instalment was to be Tully and Kate’s final hurrah.

The second season debuted in two parts - with the first nine episodes seeing Tully and Kate grappling with lawsuits, grief, and struggling to keep their relationship in one piece.

After Kate was diagnosed with a devastating case of breast cancer, she turned to her best friend for comfort. However, she soon discovered that Tully was missing.

Despite the drama series concluding last year, it seems as if Netflix users are only just getting around to the delights of Firefly Lane now.

Many viewers have recently taken to social media to praise the Stephanie Germain Productions project, with one writing: “100% Bingeworthy !! Soooo goood 10000/10 I loved it sooo much. Pls go watch it.”

Season two of Firefly Lane concluded in 2023 but some subscribers are just watching the 'underrated' show now.

A second Facebook user agreed and wrote: “This one is my favourite. Got me goosebumps really esp. the ending. I could relate on the story. Their bond is unbreakable.”

“This is one of my favourite shows!!! I CRIED like a little baby at the end of the last episode,” typed another.

A fourth commented: “The best series I’ve ever watched.”

Someone else said: “I loved this, watched it a while back, I just kept crying. Amazing show.”

So, if these Firefly Lane fans have got you convinced then you can stream the first and second seasons on Netflix now.
